David Attenbrough/A life on our planet

This week kakapo class has been watching a documentary about  environment crisis deforestation, plastic waste, coral dying, and the life of land and sea animals dying. The person studying this is David Attenbrough

He is a only person making the world a better place like he said if we look after mother nature it would look after us,in his younger years he studded about wild life in his late 20s discovering the world in his life time he doesn't count him self as an animal lover but he has be fascinated about them.

In the documentary he talks about golbel warming as people create machines to help people to be more efficient and live life easier but the gases being released into the atmosphere then  breaking the ozone layer making the ice melt then just becoming nothing.

The coral reefs dying the beauty that lives inside it is very sad because the  ocean was warming,if the ocean  is warming that means coral reefs will turn white then will be dark black and all marine animals will have no homes or food to eat.

The waste of plastic,People poullout all most everyday the amount of plastic world wide is 250 million a day plastic is made out of materials like cellulose, coal, natural gas and salt.Plastic is very dangerous because Marine life will die because they think its food so they decide to eat it then couple of days the plastic inside them will break down making the tiny plastic will go somewhere else in there body then they will die.

And then in the end he said "If we look after mother nature it would look after us"

David Attenbrough Quote.

  1. Hello Katarania, this writing is very inspiring about how you must save the planet and how if you were to help the plant it'd help you. I think talking about this stuff is very impotent and will help the environment because you never know how much people will see it.
