Movie Kluas

At the beginning of the week we did a movie study about  a movie called Klaus.The movie wasn't for fun it was to comprehend about it. In our contract we had Questions like if I lived in Smeerensburg how would I help to make the town feel all Christmassy.What I liked best about the movie Klaus is when Jesper sent all those letters to Klaus for him to see what the children wanted and then he gave them to the children. After they saw just demanding the presents wasn't right they started doing nice things like helping their neighbours giving people thing so they can earn their presents.

Guy fawkes/Fireworks

Should the sale of Guy Fawkes be banned😉


I agree to ban Guy Fawkes/Fireworks because they frighten animals,do damage to houses and can get out of control.

An argument to stop people buying Guy Fawkes is to tell the government to start banning fireworks.

Reasons why we should banned Guy Fawkes/Fireworks
1.Guy Fawkes hurt people.
2.They frighten animals.
3. Sometimes they get out of control.
4.They can interrupt your hearing.
5.And may set fires. 

If you do have Guy fawkes and you light them, first tell your neighbour that you are doing fireworks so they know and they can put their pets inside the house.

I agree to ban Guy Fawkes /Fireworks in 2020.

Roll Of Picasso

 This week we were learning about Picasso. He is one of the famous artists known for his amazing art. We were learning the basics of his art.Like the colours and what shape your face is going to be, where your going to put your eyes,nose,mouth and other parts. The way we picked our body parts is our Teacher printed a sheet of picasso and we had to roll an eye,nose,mouth,face and ears. This is my Roll a Picasso art.

Mahi Tahi

On Tuesday all the three senior classes went down to the court for Mahi Tahi what we did was TASTE TESTING and we used two of the four cs Collaboration and Critical thinking.

There were two people, the taster and the guesser. There were different foods put in a cupcake wrapper there was marmite, salt,cocoa powder,mustard,Icing sugar,lemon juice,hot sauce, maple syrup and you weren't allowed  to blurt out the answer because other people could hear you so you had to describe what you tasted.

Landmarks

This morning our teacher Mrs cutler gave us a task to do it was to go on GOOGLE EARTH and find the landmarks that were put on the board. We searched up leaning tower of Pisa, white house,big Ben,great wall of china and the Sydney opera house. If I wanted to go some where in the world to visited it would be the great Pyramids of Giza because of its beauty and how long its been standing for. Because thousands of years ago the king declared to build a Pyramid for his death and people respected  the  kings death and they put something spacial on them like a  crown or something gold. Until people didn't care so much so they  decided to take the gold for them self's.

Lessons with Harley

On Thursday we had our lesson with Harley.He came to teach us and to do filming he told us parts of what to do in the film  like actors,detectors,sound person, the filmer and the take person these were parts to make a successful film.

With Harley we filmed a script about a boy having an invisible coat and the batters ran out.
